Inspectors and agents
What we need to book a scope
Four things, by phone, text or the form. With them we can usually name an opening on the call.
- 01
The address and the deadline
The street and town of the house, and the date the inspection window closes.
- 02
Access
Where the cleanout is, or that there is none. For an occupied home, who sets the arrival time with the seller's agent.
- 03
Who gets the report
The client owns it. Tell us whether the inspector and the agent also get a copy, and the client confirms.
- 04
Who pays
The buyer, the agent or the inspector can pay. Say which, and we bill that person.
If the scope finds something
Options, not a sales call
We don't write repair quotes on a buyer's scope. The report lists the options and the locate marks where a dig would start. Your client can ask us or any plumber for a written repair price.
Footage marks your inspector can check on the video
A line on what the camera couldn't pass
A re-scope after the repair, so the file shows it worked
